A 4-day trip to Bali is the perfect amount of time to get a "taste" of both the lush jungle and the vibrant coast. Since you're visiting in early, be aware that Bali has introduced stricter quality tourism measures, so having a printed itinerary and proof of accommodation is more important than ever.
Here are two 4-day itineraries: one focused on Culture & Adventure and one for Beach & Chill.
Best for: First-timers who want a mix of culture, rice fields, and iconic sunsets.
Travel Updates
Entry Requirements: As of January, the Bali Provincial Government has implemented stricter screenings. You may be asked to show proof of funds (recent bank records) and a confirmed itinerary upon arrival.
Tourist Levy: Don't forget to pay the IDR 150,000 (approx. $10) mandatory tourist levy via the Love Bali app before you arrive.
Weather: You are currently in the wet season (Jan-Feb). It usually rains in short, heavy bursts in the afternoon. Pack a light raincoat and plan indoor activities (like spas or cooking classes) for the late afternoon.
Connectivity: Download Grab or Gojek (the "Ubers" of Bali) for easy transport and food delivery.
